What to Expect

If you are new to Word of Life, it’s nice to know what to expect before you visit. Here’s some information we hope will help you get acquainted with us and make your visit more enjoyable.

What is the Style of Worship?

Jump 1-75Our worship style is contemporary, led by a worship team that includes drums, guitars, a keyboard and vocals. Praise music is the focus but you’ll find some hymns also mixed in from time to time. The service begins at 10am and usually ends around 11:30am.

During the service, you may hear a word of prophecy spoken or lifting of hands to worship.

What Kind of Sermon Messages Will I Hear?

Microphone 1-75Sermons are topical and Bible based. The messages are meant to be practical so that you can walk away with applications for your own life. If you miss one or would like to listen to it again, sermons are uploaded to our website each week. Our hope is that you will be encouraged!

What Do You Offer for Children?

Familiar 1-75You have some options. You are welcome to keep your children with you during the service, or they can join other children for an age-related Bible teaching. Our teachers are wonderful and very caring. Sunday school classes are provided for children 2 years of age through grade five. Nursery care is also provided during the worship time as well as the sermon.

How Should I Dress?

Girl 1-75Most people wear casual dress clothes or jeans. We appreciate modesty but you can dress up or down – whatever you’re comfortable with.

Ushers Will Greet and Direct You

Salutation 1-75Ushers will greet you at the door (with a smile!) and direct you to the sanctuary, restrooms or where you can get a free cup of coffee. If you have a question or need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask them.

Info Central is Where You Can Get Your Questions Answered

Bright 1-75Looking for some information on our church? Stop by Info Central in the main sanctuary where a friendly person is there to greet you and answer any questions you may have. Visit them and put them to work! They’re happy to help.

Please Visit Our Cafe Area

Cup 1-75Where we offer free coffee, tea, and seasonal drinks (like hot chocolate in the winter and lemonade in the summer). Drinks are available before and after the service. Many times, you will also be able to find some goodies after the service to munch on. Please help yourself and enjoy!

We look forward to meeting you!
