Because of the extreme cold weather the planned activities for the Empty Nesters has been changed.
The Marinos will be sharing their Hawaiian pictures at the Empty Nesters’ February meeting on Saturday, February 6 at church and will be open to everyone to attend.
The new option for Saturday evening for Empty Nesters will be a game night at the home of Gary and Cheryl Ahlquist starting at 7 PM.
The Empty Nesters will be meeting August 1st at 7:00 P.M. at the Clubhouse Fun Center (located at 70 Jay Scutti Blvd). It is time for one of highlights of our year!
Feel free to bring any coupons you might want to use. There are also special senior citizen rates.

On June 6, 2009 starting at 7pm, we will be watching the movie, “Faith Like Potatoes.” The setting for the movie is in South Africa and the story is about the moving life journey of a man, who, like his potatoes, grows his faith, unseen until the harvest.
Since it is the beginning of summer, we thought everyone would be ready for some ice cream. Ice cream and toppings will be provided so everyone can make his or her own sundae.
Join us as Empty Nesters and Near Nesters make Nests (or Easter Baskets) at 7pm on April 4, 2009 at WOLCF.
The baskets will be provided, but please bring candy and small items to fill the baskets. Please feel free to bring a snack to share.
